The South Coast Symphony services over 15 communities in South Orange County, California.
The 80-member orchestra, directed by Barry Silverman, performs a wide variety of orchestra literature from SYMPHONIC MASTERWORKS to Contemporary Innovations, POPS and BROADWAY with eclectic programming designed to entice, enlighten, delight and educate while attracting a whole new generation of concert-goers.
The Symphony's mission is to provide South Orange County with an accessible, professional, and affordable symphonic musical experience. Each year the Symphony provides over 15,000 patrons with the opportunity to experience the sounds of Symphonic Music.
For the 2007-2008 Subscription Season the Symphony will perform the entire season at Lake Hills Community Church in Laguna Hills at 8 pm on Friday evenings, with Reserved Seats.
